The rose on the front is the same color as the whole skin. NOT BLACK.
Very nice purse. I bought the color brown and the picture shows it is a square brown leather wallet with a BLACK ROSE on the front. My rose is brown. There is no color difference between the smooth skin and the rose itself. I was disappointed but it's still a good wallet.
