I bought these because I was told they were good for bettas. According to the instructions, he left them in a bowl of aquarium water overnight and then dropped them into the aquarium. I only put 4 of these, it's 25g with about 12 ghost shrimp. Even after a few hours I found Elvis lying on his side on the floor. HE NEVER DOES THAT. My Betta is a super healthy, happy, hungry, active boy. I followed him for several hours, checked the parameters of the water, everything. The ONLY difference/change in the tank over the last week was the addition of those four tourmaline balls. So I quickly removed them. A few hours later, Elvis "got up and worked" again, needed food, sat on top of the aquarium, swam, talked. I don't know if it was those magic bullets or what, all I know is he, bruh, didn't like them. And I thought my beautiful Elvis was leaving the building. =(I'm sure they'll work great for some fish, or maybe adding them BEFORE you add the fish is a 'thing'? Betta fish are very hardy so I just got scared when I saw them how those balls made him act like a zombie. And no, he wasn't sleeping. He's sleeping on top of his tank in some hammocks I created for him. Anyway. Betta's parents, watch out, this seriously messed up my guy he's okay now but damn i was scared!
