I bought this product because it is lint free. However, after using it on my car windows, I noticed some "leftovers". I thought maybe it was an accident so I looked at the box. There is no reference to "lint-free", only "edgeless" and "microfiber". I went home and decided to do some tests thinking maybe it was the light. I cleaned the glass mirror to keep it looking fresh. Then I splashed water on it and tried to wipe it off. Depending on how much liquid remains on the surface, you can end up with a beautiful transparent tissue or a tissue with residual fibers. I took several other cloths thinking there was dust on the exposed part but the result is the same. I can say that either my testing method introduced "foreign" lint, or that it actually isn't lint-free for use on glass/optics based on the box not referring to "lint-free" what is a strong possibility. I would be careful; If you need something that isn't glass, this will probably do the trick.
