Is this a trick? May be. But my legs feel great so I don't care there's no science behind it. I feel better too. Maybe it's because you only sat for 20 minutes. Anyway, I like this machine and will use it often. You add warm water to a foot bath, stick a cage thing in the water, add some salt, put on a cheap wrist catcher and run it. Add salt to increase the current to 1.5. At first I used a tiny shovel but ended up just grabbing a shaker and slowly adding salt from time to time to increase the flow where the machine was happy. The water turns orange pretty quickly. I have copper tubing so I expect this to make up the bulk of it. After 20 minutes it looks brown. There were also several healthy black bits of something in the water that I'm pretty sure didn't get out from under my feet. I ran the same test with no legs (sensor in the water) and got the same results, so the water changed color and the chunks of material due to contamination in my city water and metal in the coil, what's in there. Don't buy headphones from the Dollar Tree.
