Attention - the device is smooth-running and runs quietly; it makes a fast and accurate firing. I can verify this because I was able to play it back on my computer using the same recorder/player. But that's where the good news ends: a Blu-ray disc will not play on a consumer Blu-ray player. I tried burning to different discs (Verbatim disc "M" as well as "regular" BD-R). And I've tried playing the recorded discs on multiple Blu-Ray players (from different family members). It always appears as "unidentified" or "no data found". Revane won't take it back. The product support staff were polite but not helpful. So we're stuck with an expensive paperweight. . .
