I'm not a gamer, so I can't confirm gaming performance, but I like it for office applications like opening multiple spreadsheets or text documents side-by-side. Indeed there is a lot of space on this screen. I also use it for music and video editing where the extra wide screen allows me to see more of the scrolling area on the timeline. The brightness is very good and the colors are accurate enough for photo editing. My eyes aren't what they used to be, my Radeon RX5600 XT desktop resolution is set to 3440 x 1440 @ 100Hz with 175% scaling. This allows me to sit with my eyes almost 3ft from the screen and at that distance the 1800r curve feels natural and perfect! I also have a small NUC PC connected to a monitor that I use with monitors that have PBP (Picture from Picture) capability, which is very handy. I recently ran color and pixelation tests, excellent color results and no pixelation after 11 months. Overall, for the $560 I paid, I'm still very happy.
