I don't think most people who write reviews saying it's too full or too hard realize that if they just open it, removing as much or less microfiber as possible (i.e. there is no solid microfoam pillow inside) easily adapts to your personal taste. That was too difficult for me from the start. I removed about 1/4 of the filling and it was just right. I saved an additional filling material in case the pillow loses some of its "fluff" over time and during washing. The cover is nice and soft, but not too fluffy. A word of caution: when unpacking, don't start until halfway through. This stuffing will leak faster than you expect and come on everything. However. It's a good pillow, not expensive, it can be washed and dried, and it's very convenient to do it yourself.
