Warm and the right thickness to wear with boots in winter so there are few uncomfortable spots in my boots after wearing them all day. Durable so (unlike other diamond shaped socks I've had) I don't have a problem with holes in my toes after a few weeks or less which is exactly what I need. My feet sometimes get too hot when I'm in the office in over 20 degrees Celsius, but outside I'm not cold at all in temperatures below 30 degrees Fahrenheit. They look great with my suit in the office and are also good for hiking in the city and in the wilderness. Because they're wool, they don't smell like cotton socks when they're a little sweaty.
