Just what I needed

I had a 2007 Prius with over 250,000 miles and was told I needed a new catalytic converter due to codes being displayed by the check engine light. After a bit of research, this is often a much cheaper solution, so I gave it a try. Installation was surprisingly quick and painless and once I cleared the engine codes all was fine. The problem did not reappear after a few weeks. Tip for those looking to do this: see if your local parts store will credit special tools. I looked at the O2 wrench designed for this and it made things a lot easier.
