Received the light strings and put them up immediately. There was a problem in that one of the strings never turned on at all and the one that did illuminate stayed on for only an hour or so despite both string solar plates being in the sun for the better part of the day. After the second day of full charging of both strings, I maneuvered the string that was not working and after several movements, the non-working string finally did illuminate (along with the string that worked from the very beginning) and both strings stayed on for no more than 4 hours.I will continue to monitor the situation and remain hopeful that both light strings will continue to illuminate and for a greater period of time than just 4 hours. If the strings ultimately stay lit for a greater period than just 4 hours, I will amend this review according. In summary and as stated in the title of this review. TIME WILL TELL.
