Review on 🔧 Bostitch BTFP72327 Ball Drain Valve by Dan Deng

This quarter turn design replaced the threaded valve in my compressor. This design opens faster and should be more reliable. The threaded element in my Craftsman tank got stuck and I couldn't open the valve to drain the tank. When replacing the valve, make sure that the tank is depressurized, since the valve will work at any pressure in it when the valve is unscrewed from the tank. Using a fitting such as B. a blow tip, does not guarantee that the pressure in the tank is zero. Position the valve away from people and place a heavy towel over it when unscrewing to dissipate the energy as it flies into the towel.
