Excellent switch. It uses an electronic circuit to control the lighting voltage instead of just using a simple rheostat to limit the current. Rheostatic dimmers work great with incandescent bulbs, but not well with LEDs. Lamps no longer flicker in low light. I am very happy with this switch. The request for this review asks if it was "easy to install". I found it very easy. However, I was a Navy-trained electronics engineer before taking an electrical engineering course at the University of Maryland. I know what I am doing. Be careful! A household current of 110 volts can kill you. Call a professional if you don't know how it all works.
