Sturdy- but small. for my opinion
The construction of the pad itself is sturdy, however it is a bit small on the inside. I am not overweight, not are my knees large. The strap is a bit short but stretches to secure. As I have to stretch it a lot, I am worried that it will permanently stretch and lose its effectiveness- time will tell. I have not really used them yet buy again they seem sturdy.
