Review on 💡 Custom Accessories 10749 12V Weather-Resistant Power Socket by Kevin Kue

I've used this in my last three cars. Works very well, easy to install (You need to slide out the interior panels in the car. That's why I'm reaching out to the DIY crowd). I've never broken any of the spring-loaded flaps (the inner mount hasn't been exposed to UV rays), but I believe they can break with abuse. But again not in normal normal use. Additional items needed for a complete installation: 1 built in fuse holder (I recommend a Weathertite type blade to match your other fuses); A compression ring connector to connect to the battery; Maybe an extra 16AWG wire if you have a longer car (only 12ft included, I needed an extra 4ft for a 2015 Toyota RAV4).
