I like the open slit design.
I bought this design because the slots are open and the hangers are much easier to remove than the design which has closed holes along the shaft. I am very happy with the design of this product. I have one of 6 items - coat, jacket, sweater. He holds the weight well. I can fit 12 items, 2 per slot, things like blouses, shirts. Definitely saves space, but of course things crumple up. But I'm an iron man who loves freshly cooked food. So this works for me. I want to save space in my closet which is great.
