Review on Faria Chesapeake White Tachometer Mechanical by Jordan Rini

I fitted this tachometer and when I started the diesel engine it worked fine with no problems. Then I shut the engine off and restarted it and the speedometer needle stayed at zero until I jerked the throttle to get a little more rpm and then it popped up where it should have been. I turned it off and then quickly back on and it worked. Not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions for anyone. I tried not to overtighten the screws. You just have to give it some gas and it seems to work
