Difficult to clean

Washed left a white film that is difficult to remove. I hand wash it to make sure the oil has come off but there is still a white stuff left. It's not the same size as a regular stick of butter, so it's a bit tricky to measure. The lid is not tight!

It fits exactly 2 cups but when you put the lid on it overflows.
