Review on High-Point RocketRAID 3742A 8 Internal, 8 External Channels 12GB/S PCIe 3.0 X8 SAS/SATA RAID Controller by Scott Richardson

I had this card for several months and struggled with it at every turn. Internal connections work fine, but when external connections are made, the system crashes. After months of fighting, HighPoint finally says it doesn't support any third-party products (adapters, cables, etc.), but doesn't make anything in-house either. So external ports are useless!
