Very disappointing. Not at all comfortable or soft

I hate writing bad reviews. It's never fun and I rarely do it. But it's just not good bedding. Buying sheets unseen (and untouched) is always risky, but since my local bedding store was closed for renovations, I had no choice. Before choosing them I did a lot of research and read hundreds of reviews. What a big disappointment. I could tell from the packaging that they weren't soft or of good quality. You could easily see through the fabric. It is very hard to believe that it is 800 threads or even satin fabric. But for the price, I took a chance and washed them in case the factory treatment made them stiff. Washing didn't help. I kept giving them a chance (I wanted them to work) and slept on them for a week. They were tough and prickly all over. To give them a chance, I washed again. Not better. Then I washed the 4th time with fabric softener. Not better. It's not even like it's not fiction; they are not even tolerant. You are so prickly. I've had good quality sheets and even cheaper sheets. It's not even close. If you're wondering what they look like, imagine you've just bought one of those inexpensive bean bag chairs for your spare bedroom or your kid who just insists on character of the year. Now picture the sheets that come with them so they can say you're getting a set of 10 items. I gave them 2 stars because they fit my queen bed well enough and seem to be wrinkle free.
