It was hard to find a hose that had all the features I wanted. There he is. My house has multiple decks and I wanted short hoses. I like spiral ones, they are more comfortable and compact for me. There aren't many short hoses to choose from. Add even less lead. I picked it for my 17ft deck. You're right, it's 15 feet fully extended, making it difficult to use and shortening its lifespan. Instead I use it on my 13 foot deck and got a 25 foot deck that fits nicely on a 17 foot deck. I recommend that if you decide to use coiled tubing, go for a longer one rather than a shorter one.
