The packaging shown in my picture advertises a free lifetime warranty and online registration. I spoke to the company after searching the internet for this guarantee and they said they stopped offering it over a year ago and now it's only free for 1 year as a limited edition or you can go for the pay for renewal. They had no answer as to why the packages still said free for life and nothing was offered to make up the difference from what was promised, which is why I chose this product over others in the first place. Aside from the fact that the company was not honest, the product isn't as loud as i thought it would be and the design has the disadvantage that the key fob is attached to a pin so if it's hanging on your bag and a kid comes and pulls on it the alarm will go off. I'm not sure why a kid's bag is so much cheaper than an adult's when there's no difference in performance or design. Just buy for the kids.
