Review on Copco Basics Silicone Bottle Brush by Russell Robertson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Long handle, narrow neck and head for maximum versatility

According to my wife: I wanted a bottle brush with a long handle and narrow head. I was concerned that this silicone brush might be too gentle to clean anything, especially a container of dried items. I'm really impressed with how well this brush works. The first thing I cleaned with it was a gallon-sized plastic milk jug that had dried droplets of milk in it because I forgot to rinse it out when it was first emptied. In the past, the only way I could clean an old pitcher was to soak it in soapy water until the dried droplets of old milk softened, and sometimes even that didn't work. Many of the bottle brushes I already had were useless as they were either too wide to fit down the neck of a gallon container or too short to reach the bottom. The narrow head and neck of this bottle brush along with the extra long handle allowed me to reach every part of the inside surface of this milk jug, including the entire bottom. The silicone brush removes hardened dry spots quickly and easily. I then tackled a few similar items like large plastic fruit juice containers and cleaning was as quick and smooth as a milk jug. For both economic and environmental reasons, I prefer to reuse containers whenever possible and now this bottle brush allows me to reuse many of the containers that previously simply had to be recycled or thrown away. This bottle brush is just what I needed and I'm glad I ordered it. 5 Stars.
