We used it on a sightseeing cruise. We went snorkeling at one stop and then visited the beaches at other stops. I wanted to make sure I had my passports or ship's certificates, as well as credit cards, cash and cell phone in one safe place. If we lose some of these things, we won't get back on the ship. I was nervous about leaving our stuff on the snorkel catamaran or on the sun lounger while we were in the water. It worked like a charm! Nothing leaked and everything is intact. Highly recommended. It's not the most comfortable or flattering thing, but it gets the job done.
