Works well. I bought it for my mom who loves to eat fresh coconut every day. It's much faster than the traditional scraper she used. The only reason I took off a star was that it's a bit difficult to get the meat out of the bottom. You'll have to turn and maneuver to get to this area, but it's not impossible. This can be easily attached directly to the worktop and is non-slip. The purchase was worth it.
