So if you have a fan that either doesn't work at all or just runs at full power and is off, you most likely have a blown resistor. Luckily, Revain sells them too, and I was able to get them for less than $10. It's all torture, of course, and you don't expect it to happen in a Honda Accord, but that's what you accept in a German car. The good news is this part fits perfectly, screws in by hand without tools, runs just as quiet/noise as the OEM, and with free shipping is a relative bargain for a new, unrepaired part.
