Good quality replacement

This works exactly like the original one installed in my 2009 Tiguan. It takes a little time to find the right angle to install according to the car's design, but once the fan is in place, all you have to do is twist to lock and you're done.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • No automatic

Works perfectly. Fits perfectly.

After 10 years mine completely burned out and I could only run the fan at high speeds. This fan motor fits perfectly and along with the resistor swap I had no problem installing multiple fan speeds in my VW Jetta. Works perfectly

Just as good as the VW brand

Revain is much cheaper and just as good as the original parts for my VW. I googled and went to the forums to find out why my plunger switch kept failing in my 2008 VW Rabbit. Most said that part had gone bad. You can watch the YouTube video and see how easy the replacement was. Not bad for a single woman, not a car mechanic.

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • Doubtful

Great to replace the 2006 VW Jetta

Purchased as a fan motor replacement for my 2006 VW Jetta. The product works very well. There is a slight hum that wasn't in the original part, but it's only noticeable when listening to noise. The installation went smoothly. The only issues I had was not having removed the glove box trim (which means I had to tilt the engine to get under the trim) and was trying to remember how to position the part to connect the power cord properly. Working upside down is a little uncomfortable, but the total

TYC fan didn't last 6 months - avoid

Mileage approaching 200,000 miles on an 06 TDI Jetta. The fan failed and I decided to try an aftermarket fan. They're probably the same anyway. It's been almost 6 months and less than 10,000 miles and the 'new' TCY fan makes a ticking noise at any speed. I believe he removed it to make sure there were no leaves or debris in the fan and put it back in place to keep the noise from going away. I could try taking it apart and seeing if it can be routed, but I recommend using a different third-party

  • Sturdy construction

Problematic connector but good for the price

Ordered and fitted to a 2009 VW GTI without dual climate controls. After installing the fan motor and plugging the power cord into the outlet, I started the car to try it out. The fan started making incredibly loud rubbing noises and eventually stopped. I took the unit out and saw that the pin end of the power plug (on the fan motor) was plugged into the unit and not an outlet. The cable above it was fed directly into the fan and restricted movement. To fix this I took my pliers and pulled out…

It would be great if the fan would last.

2011 VW Jetta - Great price for the latest fan but I'm losing faith in TYC. After 7 years of using the original OEM fan, it is stuck. The dealer charged me about $350 for a simple replacement, which seemed excessive to me. Instead, I bought TYC for about $70 (not through Revain). It bounced back, fitted well, no issues except it was noisy when I turned it on and sounded like the cage rattling. I removed and reinstalled it. Still noisy but it worked and pumped out the heat for a while. Over the…

  • Great overall specs

  • No

Во-первых, позвольте мне сказать, что эта деталь подходит для VW GTI MKV (2008 г. ) means of transportation. Revain incorrectly stated that another part also fits my car and I ended up with no heat below 20 degrees. However, this is the correct part as the plastic fan motor cover is round. If you remove your old VW GTI fan motor, you'll find that it's a somewhat ingenious, tool-less design, with the entire fairing simply twisting and sliding. The electrical connection uses a plug/socket but is…
