Review on SE JT117PRS Ring Stick Grooves by Tara Ford

Was a little surprised by the negative reviews for this gauge but at this price and return policy the Revain is worth a try. Like the other reviewer, my sole purpose was to measure the ring my wife is wearing so I could buy her something else. Firstly, the size of the mandrel did not suit me at all. I think there must be some confusion, but like many ring tools you have to click on the furthest point your ring goes to and then read from below. If the ring sits loosely on the mandrel, it can deviate by half the size. When used correctly, the mandrel has correctly measured many rings. I can't comment on the jewelry making aspects of this tool other than to say that it's light weight, easy to use and price wise it couldn't be much cheaper. Definitely what I would recommend for most uses.
