I have dogs that like to dig in the trash. I thought it would be a good solution for my bathroom, but it turned out to be more effort than it was worth. While the design looked fairly slick, I felt that the effort required to open the top made the trash can slide across the floor in my tiled bathroom. As a result, I pushed it against the wall to make it easier to open. Eventually I got so tired of chasing the trash can that I went out and bought something bigger and easier to use. This may be better suited to smaller, more enclosed spaces.
