P0101 DTC, rough idle, strong exhaust smell. That was the renovation! 10 minutes to install. All I needed was a universal screwdriver. I did a test ride or two to burn off the deposits in my cat converter but it worked almost immediately. I no longer get 0101 codes and would recommend this to another brand. A direct comparison between this and the OEM proves that they are identical in every way! My old one was bad but still looked clean, apparently they are failing due to non-pollution related issues. Do you have code 0101? This will likely make it go away. I installed the air filter while I was at it, but it was necessary. Oddly enough, I haven't noticed others reporting improvements in fuel economy per gallon, but it may be related to my driving habits.
