Simply Worst hardware ever purchased from Garmin. Mostly useless for trip planning as it can't transfer trips from Garmin base camp to it. I've been a fan of Garmin devices for many years. Time to look for another brand that can actually be used. So disappointed. It is very necessary for the upcoming journey. After several hours of work and a call to Garmin support, it really does work, just unlike previous devices. The problem and the secret is making sure Garmin Express isn't running in the background. Express is always running in the background so you know when an update is available. Small triangle in the toolbar at the top right. This needs to be disabled for the base camp to be able to find the new RV 785. Has lots of bells and whistles and looks like it should be great with a camera on the street.
