I have a 7 liter saltwater reef aquarium that measures 16" x 10" x 10". I saw this device over two Nanos on my LFS and was sure it would be perfect for my own Nano. Not sure after plugging it in a few hours ago. Pros: The device is clean and modern. Cons: 24 LEDs. But only 8 whites. As much as I lean towards a bluer spectrum/appearance, they just aren't bright enough. The block should be 50/50. Or add another row of twelve LEDs. It's so dark in my small tank that I can hardly find my fish. My first wish is to return it or buy an all white strip to put in the hood of this device. I'll try for two weeks. There is nothing on the packaging or documentation to tell me what spectrum these LEDs emit and if they can support coral or even macroalgae. They are only 0.25 watts each.
