"Don't leave your records in the sun or they will warp and be of no use to anyone. " (J. Hartford)

Purchased product used to seal battery terminals on a boat. A small number of tubes were tested. worked fine The remaining blanks are prepared. The tube could no longer be used because the adhesive activated by itself and the tube wall stuck to itself. Warning: This tube is supplied in a flat coil. Why is it important? Read in: shrink temperature is high - more than a hair dryer. But glue is a different story. In the sun on a 145-degree day, the glue heats up faster than your mom does when she sees me float past in my amazingly fast boat and my toned, lithe body. or at least that will happen if I get more heat shrink, ideally somewhere WHERE DANG-ADHESY-TRIGGERS ARE THE SAME TEMPERATURE AS DANG-SHRINK. Flat tube + hot glue ==> hard flat tape.

Pros
  • Industrial Electrical
Cons
  • Requires outlet
