I like this thing, I use it a lot but the little one is easier to hold and turn. This one works exactly the same, so it doesn't change my goals. You can use as many pins as you like, just skip the rest. I often only use 4 even though there are 6 pins. You can't choose a colour, but this time I was lucky and got a transparent one. They are all transparent I think. The middle one is wider and taller than the small one and fills my hand (an ordinary woman's hand). If you want one for a child, get a small one. If you are using a very bulky yarn, use a large one. You can easily use normal yarn or thin children's yarn for this. You can even use twine like hemp. I think you will like this tool. They've been around for decades and are made from a variety of materials. You might remember using a spool of thread with nails for pins if you're my age and I know they existed when my mom was a kid. That's like 80 years or so, and I think it's been around a lot longer. This is a good tool and the price is great. The delivery was quick too.
