Got this to burn CDs from my laptop which doesn't have a CD drive. Unfortunately, I only tried it after the return period had expired. Learn from my mistake, try everything if you succeed! When I plugged it into my laptop's USB port, everything looked fine at first. But when trying to burn a CD, the device kept saying "Insert CD" even though it was already in it. I tried various ways to solve the problem but never got beyond asking to insert a CD even though one was already there. . I hope I learned my lesson to try everything before the return period expired. I also don't think I was thorough enough when checking the customer reviews. I should have looked at the unfavorable first!
