I'm shooting on a 550D and was looking for a fast mid-range focus lens. distances for shooting a child and indoor gatherings.

I was choosing between the Tamron 30mm f/1.4, the old Canon 35mm f/2 and this one. As a result, the price of the latter played a decisive role. I ordered for 5 thousand from Hong Kong (now the price has become adequate in 2022 online stores).

Cons

When wearing a camera with this lens, the center of gravity shifts around the neck and the camera screen touches outer clothing, and care must be taken that there are no buttons, zippers, chains, etc., so as not to scratch the screen.
