Was a bit worried when we opened the box. Like many Black and Decker products, it felt a bit cheap and very light. BUT when we used it, we found that because of its light weight, we can safely hang it on almost anything. We hung it on our back deck. We haven't killed anything from 4-5 flies a day in our kitchen (which opens onto the patio)! We can use our deck again. We keep it day and night. The flies have almost completely disappeared, and apparently so have the mosquitoes. He even killed a few pesky bees. It helped with mosquitoes but not completely. Definitely worth buying and we're considering getting another one for our pool (we have a big yard).
