It didn't work at all. Installation wasn't easy. In fact you will need a second person to help you as it takes three hands while holding it in place to insert the screws for final assembly. Once at the door, the motor or solenoid will lock or unlock the door. While we were able to get the motor to run when the device was removed from the door, there was no way to get it to run when the device was on the door. I spoke to their online tech support who tried to get it working but even with their help we couldn't get the motor to run when it was on the door so there was no way to lock the door or to open. Tech support couldn't find a solution so after fighting this thing for over two hours I sent it back to Revain.
