Review on ACDelco 38113 Professional Automatic Tensioner by Ulysses Fincher

Unfortunately the pulley bearing started to squeak after only 2 hours of use. I ordered the ACDelco version of this product and expected higher quality at a higher price. Unfortunately, no. It's a simple setup, so no big deal. But it still hurts to do it twice. As for some of the comments about the plastic pulley, I believe it was made to eliminate the famous "pulley ring" that has been appearing on these vans over time. I hated that ring and I hated that patch 10 years ago when I bought these '98 AGB. The field patch was intended to fill the metal roll with door and window sealant, which worked great for many years. The plastic version does not ring. Unfortunately, the blunt bearing is defective.
