Warning! Will damage your monitor!

BUYER ATTENTION! YOU SAVE MONEY ON THIS LAMP BUT LOSE IT IF IT DAMAGE YOUR MONITOR! So I went for a cheaper and faster shipping option for the LED monitor instead of the BenQ model. Cheaper, reviews seemed good and fast shipping, what's not to like? Well, if you love your monitor and don't want it getting damaged, then you need to read on. The mounting solution for this LED lamp is nonsense. The counterweight is not heavy enough to prevent the lightbar from moving and the clamping force is too weak. Also, the bracket attaches to the light but has some protrusion in the light body so you have a very sharp corner sticking out from the front of the light. Do you see what I'm getting at? Well I used all the various mounting washers and configurations I could find to attach the lamp to the monitor bezel. Then I turned it on by touching the power button. The bracket did nothing and the lamp swung down and INTO the MONITOR PANEL. Remember that sharp corner sticking out of the lamp socket? Well I now have half an inch of GASH in my $700 monitor. I am sending this junk back, I will buy a BenQ and test it on my already damaged display. Maybe I can find a set of patches for sawing into IPS displays.
