Just got Saucony Jazz Low-Pro vegan shoes size 9.5. To be honest, I'm not vegan per se, I eat meat in moderation and enjoy it! But I have a pair of "vegan" shoes and I'm willing to help (I drive too, but I don't eat gas. I also produce garbage, but recycle diligently when I can). I loved this pair of shoes: kind of flashy retro style, reasonable price, great reviews, good company reputation. Received them today, quickly put them on and wore them indoors for an hour, mostly on carpet. Again, I liked it right out of the box. I loved the style, I loved the simplicity and yes they are vegan. After a few hours of use, two things became clear. The lack of cushioning under the ball of the foot quickly became apparent. I bought these to walk the sidewalk and of course I will be treating sore feet and maybe blistering the balls of my toes. Second, a little tight in the wide part of my door above the toe. I thought the shoes would stretch and over time they would feel good in width. Putting these two issues together, I reluctantly decide to return these Saucony shoes that I have. If you don't walk sidewalks for a long time and have a narrow or normal foot width, these could be the right fit for you. I really admired the look and the workmanship is good. Made in Vietnam, which is acceptable (I just avoid anything made in China if I can).
