This was about 5x the price of the first mount I ordered, but the strength, quality, fit and finish was MUCH better than the first. It is quick and easy to assemble. Adjustments are almost step-less, and because it's made from die-cast and machined aluminum, you don't have to worry about kinks, bends, falling or breaking, and you don't have to worry about your expensive camera projector falling due to a damaged mount calmly. .Another great aspect of this mount? If you make a slight mistake setting up the projector (mine is a LG PF1500 1080p native resolution), you can angle the projector left, right, front or back if the mount is low enough to allow for those adjustments. For example, my screen's field of view is about 9.5 inches below the ceiling, and the top edge of my projector's image starts at the center of its lens. If I need to make adjustments, I want the mount to be far enough from the ceiling that there is a crease in the frame, causing the top of the picture to move up slightly towards the ceiling. In other words, if you want these adjustments, attach the frame to a block of wood, etc. to make it slightly lower so adjusting the hinges doesn't raise your projector higher than necessary. Anyway, I don't have a ceiling mount for a small one Found a projector like mine that would offer a range of adjustments but it would be so durable. I have no doubt in recommending this one wholeheartedly!
