I bought it together with my Bosch Universal Plus after reading reviews about the need for a test nozzle. Perfect. It runs directly under the dough hook and prevents small or highly wet batches from wrapping around the column. My plastic has never melted or broken a bowl. When it's done, I throw it in the dishwasher. Not recommended for other uses such as cake batter. There is another bowl scraper that works great too. This is for real test only. In the case of unusual chafing, Bosch recommends using vegetable oil for lubrication. This will not damage the car. That's what they use from the factory.
