Ruined my $99 plastic mixing bowl

I was thrilled when I found this tool! It worked beautifully when I baked a small batch of bread with it. But I was shocked when I took apart the bowl scraper and dough hook. The scraper not only scraped the dough off the B-pillar as promised, but also scraped the plastic off the top of the B-pillar! Now I can't remove the B-pillar assembly to clean it. This $13 unit only cost me $99 to replace the bowl.

I love my Bosch! Best in kitchen and dining

I love to bake multiple loaves at once, but there are things that are only really good when they're freshly made and served warm from the oven. Reheated donuts and cinnamon rolls just aren't tasty. This simple and effective little hook extension should be included in every blender, but it isn't. If you just want to knead dough for 2 or more loaves of bread at a time you can skip this expansion, but if you ever want to knead a small portion of dough you will and will want this bladed expansion.

Works great for small batches!

Reading a number of reviews about Bosch mixer accessories and what each one does and what it is recommended for, I bought it straight away. The review recommends adding a dough hook extension if you're only mixing one to three loaves of bread. In other words, for small batches in a large 6 liter mixing bowl. The dough hook extension works great and reaches to the floor. Bowl with a capacity of 6 liters and fits perfectly on the column. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to mix small…

Excellent nozzle for parts and accessories for small household appliances

I bought it together with my Bosch Universal Plus after reading reviews about the need for a test nozzle. Perfect. It runs directly under the dough hook and prevents small or highly wet batches from wrapping around the column. My plastic has never melted or broken a bowl. When it's done, I throw it in the dishwasher. Not recommended for other uses such as cake batter. There is another bowl scraper that works great too. This is for real test only. In the case of unusual chafing, Bosch recommends

How many people found that at Bosh.

My wife gave me a Bosh Universal Plus a few years ago to replace my old mixer that I used to make dough with. The problem is that the dough rises up the column and is not kneaded properly. For Thanksgiving, I made buns out of 1 pound flour and made a very moist, soft dough. This is usually a pain in bosh and I knead by hand. Another option was to add more flour to make the dough stiffer, that works but the texture of the buns was wrong. There was no problem with the test hook extension. quite…

Disappointing Bosch Universal Plus? READ IT.

There are issues/complaints that Bosch Universal Plus (BUP) owners have wrestled with, worked to fix and brainstormed. (Are you feeling frustrated?) There, FOREVER! Examples: 1. BUP cannot use the low yield formula. This is GREAT for a large batch of dough, but TERRIBLE for a typical small batch of a couple of loaves.2. With a wetter dough (high hydration), BUP will not knead the dough properly. The dough wraps around the center stand and is not kneaded by the dough hook.3. BUPs are difficult…
