The Jo Chef kitchen burner is a handy browning tool. Faster and more efficient than lighting a brazier for small jobs. It's also easier to see the result you're getting. PLEASE NOTE: For safety reasons, it is delivered empty. Don't forget to also order a butane gas bottle if you want to play right away (and who doesn't want that?). As other reviewers have noted, I found it easier to fill out by laying it on the page. Pay attention to the "max fill" line, as cold butane expands when warmed to ambient temperature. I usually fill just below the "max fill" line. Easy to light, with fine adjustment of the flame intensity. I've only had it for a few weeks, but so far it's a great tool.
