Doesn't work on all cars aux port (cigarette lighter)
Bought for my son and we tried it on his 2006 Honda Element (could have been sooner I forgot) and won't work , but everything worked fine on my 2014 Cruze. Turns out the aux port on the Honda has a deep center pin, and the center pin on this USB charger isn't long enough for a pin. Instead of changing it, I took out the center pin (it unscrews easily) and added a drop of solder, making the contact longer. This worked and is now communicating with Honda's auxiliary port.
