LOVE LOVE LOVE Sorry I just kicked that out of my system. I carve spoons and other things. Sandpaper absorbs ROCK sanding sponges. How have I never heard of this? (I know I preach to the choir). I have to admit grit is less abrasive than paper but 80 feels like around 110-120 to the touch. Also, they seem to take a little longer for some reason? Obviously they wear out quickly as you would expect, but even after they're worn out they're better than worn paper. It's also very handy to have a sponge for dusting bowls and the like. You can also use them to apply oils/stains if you wish. They are a comfortable size in my hands (4 inches in the palm and 4 inches in the middle finger) and don't hurt the skin as much as paper. Good price for a huge box of these, and they're only connected by leaves that you can pull them out of quickly and easily. Very satisfied.
