Review on ๐Ÿ”ง DEA A2898 Transmission Mount: Superior Stability and Durability for Optimal Performance. by Casey Narcisse

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Have a beer, we'll fix it.

Handled the rear; but that was not my problem. For those looking to fix a DeVille/Saville shimmy, look "front-on" (then wrestle with it like hell). For those trying to install it themselves, here are my tricks: put the car on jack stands, raise the transmission/engine mount (after removing the rear mount nuts); You'll find the damn thing won't come out anyway, so take a saw and cut it in half (its core is rubber and steel, but doable); Then when you install the new one you'll have to trim the bolts a bit or you won't get it in (1/2 inch I think I remember doing; always start with a smaller one since you'll need it can't reset in) Drink lots of beer and kill about 3 hours (maybe more).

Pros
  • Cool stuff
Cons
  • Something different
