Be careful and keep this in mind when using!

I was sent a replacement for this one. Arrived today, let's see how it goes. I used it once after getting the first one and I smelled something burning. I cooked a simple dish and have been cooking for many years. The floor is on fire! I never leave while I'm cooking and I'm glad I went. It gets REALLY hot underneath so be careful!. I hope the replacement is better and safer to use. I'm still nervous.
