I think that for a child of 6-8 years old it will be uncomfortable to sit on these chairs.
Purchased with table and chair for additional seating. They are really cute and seem to be very durable. Also, unlike many others, they seem to be able to be used for many years. I think a 6-8 year old would be uncomfortable sitting in these chairs.
