Review on KEEN Women'S Nxis Evo Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots - All-Weather Protection & Comfort by Don Wilson

Comfy and sturdy! good for me

UPDATE:Three months in and I still love these boots. I even backpacked 25 miles with a 28lb pack and they were comfy. However, because of the GoreTex my feet get SO hot and sweaty unless I'm in really cold weather. Sadly, these will have to just be my winter hiking boots.Original review:I've had these boots for a couple weeks and I've put about 50 miles on them - including a very rocky, steep hike up & down Guadalupe Peak in Texas. I love that my narrow ankle and mid-foot feel really locked in, but my wide toe box is snug with room to wiggle my toes.NO blisters, pain on my bunion, arch pain, anything like that. I'd say the break-in on these is about 5-10 miles' worth.Love the green color! The white part of the sole is more squishy than a typical hiking boot, but the very bottom is stiff.I can hike rough trail in these and jog when I feel like it, and my knees appreciate the extra bounce.

Pros
  • With their all-weather protection and comfort, these boots are a versatile option that can be worn throughout the year, whatever the weather
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for those who need wide calf boots
